# 11 Nearly over

Here is another version of the same lily reference.  It was done in watercolor pencisl.  Only one more post for the 2009!

# 10

Did it again, missed a post.  I thought I had done it before I started my latest art project.  It is a digi of daylillies, the original ones are red.

Number Nine

This my ninth post.  It is an ATC from the same picture reference as the last one.  I like to try more than one crop from a reference.  That way I can make a small one and then decide if I want to do it larger from the same reference.  I can also make corrections from the ATC size, before doing a bigger one.

#8

THIS IS WISHFUL THINKING Now that the ground and everything else is covered with lots of snow, the thought of daisies makes me wish for Spring.  This is done on dark paper with a black frame, in colored pencil.

# 7

I am going to have a White Christmas, Merry Christmas to everyone.  This is a view outside from Tuesday.  Now, it is still white, but very wet and slick.  I haven't tried a painting with only snow and bare trees......................Kurliegene

Oops missed a day! Still #6

Didn't realize I missed yesterday!  Well this is post number 6, if I start over I would have 2 or three of each number. I was trying out Yupo with watercolors, this is the result.  I used an ATC sized piece of Yupo and a WC reference picture.  It is a grape vineyard with red tubs of picked grapes.
This scene reminds me of trips to California to see family.  There were orange, grapefruit, apricot, nectarine and other tree fruits close to the

Here I am again, this time I tried another avatar.

Make That Four in a Row

I am gonna try and do a "painting post a day" for a month.  Here is #4, my Turner"esk" bridge.  It is supposed to have the light airy feel that the artists of that time did.  This is place in my mind that has been coming back to me periodically for several years.

THREE is better than TWO

Wow!   I did it!   I made an avatar!  This makes 3 days in a row!  Maybe I should try to get a week in a row or maybe a month??  Whoooppie, this makes my day.

Two Days in a Row

Two days in a row for me to post is great.  I hope I can keep posting at least once a week.  This will be my new goal for a couple of months.  Wonder how long I can keep it going?

Here is another of my ATC/ACEOs.  This is from the same batch that the last one was.  I did several that week.  My perspective is off a little, can you tell?
I would like to take many of my small cards and make paintings from them.  There are about a dozen I really like.  Hope I can do that soon, I need to get more big pieces done.

What happened to my Font text toolbar?

Geeez it is hard to remember where, what, how to use, why to use of  all the bells and whistles it takes to do a simple blog!  I LOST my font/text button bar....NOT it was there all the time.  I have done a post for here several times and didn't see it.  Hiding all the time in plain sight!

Anyway, here is another of my recent works.  Also from the WDE on WC.  Hope you know what that is, it is easier than typing all the letters. It is an ATC/ACEO of course!  I did it one of the many postings weeks. It is in wc with added ink.

Somemore of my art.....

Colored bottles on a sunny shelf...

A cartoonish take on what frustration I was going thru with the Ginsu chopper.

I have been...

I have been trying out new ideas to put on this blog. Today it's a Blog with Integrity button. It means that I promis to be a carefull blogger.

Here is another...........

I will put some of my art on here as often as I can. This one is a crested crane. Done on a scrap of crushed print paper in oil pastels.

Waterfall Cubed...back in September

I first posted on Wet Canvas back in September. This was my first post and I was antsy about "going public". On WC someone posts several photos and each participant selects one or more to depict in their own way. The finished works are posted for anyone to see and comment on.

The photo is the one I picked and the challenge was to make it Cubist style. The brighter one is the picture cubed with Painter 11. The other is the watercolor on Arches 140CP, that I posted. I chose the title "Did I fall short?" lol.

THIS IS FOR Miss PIC

I am starting this new blog to put my art projects out for anyone to see. I have had a geocities site, and they closed down. So, now I am using this as my web site. The first person to see it will be PIC, my artsy grand. Unless someone stumbles onto here.

I will post some of the projects I have done for WDEs, on WC. First is the one of the abstracts, I digi'd for a Red,Yellow and Blue challenge. The second is the original picture.
