I did pretty well on the time, but still wanted to add more.  That is where I usually get into trouble...just a little more becomes a little too much!  I am getting better at using a limited pallette and making greens. Now to try another with pinks or reds.

Strike whil the iron is hot!

Here is number two in my series of Spring Floweres From My Garden.  This is a plant that I planted about 15 yrs ago.  It reseeds itself each year. I am going to try and keep this one quick like the last one.  It is hard to limit myself to an hour, but I am trying  to force myself to be looser in my painting.

Met my goal....

Yea!
I finished this 5x7 watercolor with ink in just about an hour.  This is an accomplishment for me.  What I usually do is much more detailed and takes too long to do.  I have a problem in knowing when to stop.
I think this one is pretty good considering the limits I placed on myself.  I want to try and do more like it,  maybe a series.

I took this picture of my pear tree earlier this Spring.  I cropped it and am going to do a picture of it in watercolors and maybe ink.  Haven't had any fruit from this tree.  Planted it about 4 yrs ago and it was unlabled at the garden shop.  I want to do a very fast simple bright picture, maybe several pictures.

Winds of change.........

I have gotten myself in a time warp!  What happened to the month of Feburary?  Hummm, should I start over with my posts or just pick up where I was.   I think I will take the later of the two..starting with my next post.  This is a reference pix from a WC that I used for an oil pastel picture.  The picture is hanging in a display and I will get it posted when I get it back.  I see wind machines like these, in just such a setting, when I go to my classes .  Except that now there is snow on the ground under them.  Hopefully, soon there will be no snow and a nice cloudy day.

Opps,! Art yesterday and today!

Darn, missed last night's post!  So, here is a twofur...I will post another one later today.  This is a macro cosmos done in ink and color pencil.  I thought I would try adding some color to this bunch of ATC/ACEO 2.5x3.5 cards.  I got tired of the same black ink.  This was done from a WDE reference.  I have my metals class today, so I will know if I got good grades on my first samples.  I hope so, I will feel like a dunce otherwise!
