Hats Off...2 in a row! #14

I have started a small sketchbook.  I have been using a much bigger one and this is much more portable.  These are hats that I saw while riding public transportation.  I put the steeples on here, too since they are the "hats" on the churches.  I like people watching and hats are a fashion statements I like to see and wear.
I am trying to get a better at quick sketching.

I found it does make a difference how you have your camera set!  I had to set the optimizer waaaay up to get this small enough.  These are the flowers of the Brunnera plant that I have in my back yard in the spring. Sometimes it is called "false forget me not". Brunnera makes a very nice shade plant with large heart shaped leaves, some of mine are green and one plant has silver highlights.  I plan to start this painting in the morning, hope I get it done in one day.

Skipper AGAIN! # 11 and #12

I just can't seem to remember to post! Here are two little doodles I did in pen and ink.  They are each 2"X1.5" and are shown on ATC sized cards... I used the strip of paper left from a sheet when I cut ATCs to make them.

I used a cheap set of writing fine pens for this koala.  It is also for a WC monthly challenge.  I only have 3 pens in this set- purple, blue and black. So, I used the purple and a little black.  I don't know if these pens are waterproof..that is the next trial.

Another skip..I am in the EveryOtherDay mode! This is a pen and ink sketch for a WC monthly event.  It is a part of a church that is between the bellfry and the door.  I seem to have problems with lines going up hill to the right.  Gonna have to work on that!

Number 8 --- In Place

Here is the second of the set.  These are the rings on my right pinkie where they belong.  I wear them all the time and when I look at them they remind me of the owners.

Number 7 -- Out of Place

I hate updates!  Couldn't get in here last night, because of an update.   Here is #1 of a set of 2.  This a drawing of my left hand holding the rings that belong on my right hand pinkie.  Each ring is special to me because of who they each belonged to.
