On a roll...#19
Here is my prototype of an idea I had and wanted to try. It was worth all the time I spent on it. I worked out alot of the kinks in what I thought could be done and what actually was possible. I didn't go for great pen work, but just the pattern and measurements for what I needed to do. I call this a Tryptic ATC named it Beach at Sunset. I will post the other versions soon.

Number 18 ..Little 4 Seasons Book
No series today, just a project I finished.
Here is a little book, about 2 inches square, that I made today. It took me alot more time to do than it should have! It always takes me too long to decided what to make and then how to make a pattern. I did this simple and small so that I could work out the proportions. It is all hand lettered and drawn. Each gold square is 1.25" square. I hope to make similar little books with ATCs.

#17 and... SPRING FLOWER SERIES Number 8
I previously posted a photo of Brunnera flowers that grow in my backyard. Here is my painting from that picture. Blue is a hard color to find in flowers, but even harder to paint.

Lucky # 15
This is the other half of the previous page. These are signs and words I saw from the windows of the commuter train. I like to try and catch the moment in a quick sketch. I used a small pen, I think it was a Pilot. I try to keep this small sketch in my purse for travel or waiting times. I should take each of these small items and make them into a bigger sketch.
