PERCY WHERE ARE YOU?

Fifth flower in my series

Here is the finished rose.  I did all of these freehand ( no tracing) and on 5x7 paper.  I used more ink on this one, than the others I have done.  I had trouble with mixing shadows in yellows.  I need more practice with light colors.  This rose was planted last summer and is the first rose bloom of the summer.
Here is the photo of my yellow rose, that I used for my fifth picture of my series. I love yellow roses.

Fourth in Spring Flowers in My Garden

I forgot all about time on this one! This picture was taken w/o flast, I might like it better with flash.  It seems a little dull.  Next I will do a yellow rose..that will take more time, too.
Pinks in my garden photo for my series.  These are Sweet Williams and are blooming for the 2nd year.  They are tall because of all the rain this year.  I need more colors of them, they smell so nice.

Third in Spring Flowers From My Garden

I did great on the time, but got some opaque Naples mixed in with my reds and yellows.   Not good!  I couldn't get the vibrant color of red/orange I wanted.  There is only one stem of this plant blooming right now, so maybe I will try again, later.

Here is the photo of my next flower.  I don't remember what it's name is, but I am going to try and google it.  It is another of my reliable plants.  The color is a very vibrant red/orange.  Hope I can mix that one!
