Hi Persephone...This is another of my ATC exchange cards.  We are doing flowers and I am experimenting with different techniques.  This is on vellum with watercolors.  Vellum is usually used for pen or marker works.  I also tried leaving some white around the edges of the flowers.

Here is the finished ATC from one of the pictures I posted.  I have thousands of pix, so I doubt I will ever get most of them cropped, let alone done as art.  Of course, there will be more of the Flowers and the From the Past exchanges.

Here is a gazing ball that I saw at a landscapers display.  I like the reflections of the sky in it.  Going to the nurseries gets me in the mood for spring.  I have my first flowers blooming already and there is snow (3") in the forecast for tonight!

ATC again,

I have joined a Flower ATC Exchange on Wet Canvas.  I am addressing my ATCs for the Past Exchange that started a month ago, so I am getting this one started.  I am posting some of my crops for the Flower ATCs, I took the pictures last spring at a local nursery.  They grow their own and make great displays of the flowers on their grounds.  This is a fancy primrose.

I am trying to get back to posting more often.  I am doing more 2D art and that is easier to post (at least for me).  Another painting I finished for the Weekly Drawing Event over on Wet Canvas.  I started it as a practice at pouring watercolors, but ended doing it as a regular water color.

  I cropped it after I painted it because I had a major flaw in the lower half.  I tried to solve the problem and it didn't work.  Sorry about the fancy background, this is uncropped.

First Painting of New Year

I am finally getting back to my 2D art,
 after doing metalsmithing for months.  It is a transition for me. I am following an online class at Wet Canvas, called KUIAN.  In it we are trying a method of pre painting our paper with watercolor pouring.  I am not good at it at all, but I am willing to learn.  This is my first attempt at pouring, and I made alot of mistakes.  I sorta like the finish, but didn't follow the directions very well.

My Favorite Painting Buddy

My favorite painting buddy and I were watching a family member make homemade pizzas.   The Family Pizza Queen custom makes the BEST pizzas anyone will ever enjoy!
My Buddy took this interesting picture of some of the veggies being chopped for the pizzas.  It has a good perspective .  We might just paint it and compare our styles.  My Buddy might use colored pencils, and I like watercolors, so we can compare and see how our ideas turn out.  Sort of like our tastes in pizza, I like pepperoni, mushrooms and black olives on my pizza.  She likes hers with more veggies....
I will try and post our projects.  Miss P I want a pix of your work and the ones you did while the pizza baked.  8-)
