This is a Quartet of Favorite Flowers that I painted in watercolors. All of them are from my garden, they are perennials and come up every year. Each one of them has a story and are my favorites. They are currently hanging in a display. I want to get them home, I miss them. While the weather is cold they make me think of summer. Next time I do a group I will pay attention to the size of the finished paintings. I just crossed the sheet of paper with half inch tape and used that as my borders. I had to put the four in the same frame to camouflage the fact that they are not all identically sized!
