Number Six Broken...
New colors for Crayola!! Wow, I've been using crayons for decades. Wish there were all these new colors earlier, but I loved some of the "retired" ones, too. Of course, one of them broke-- makes one almost cry!

HB Pencil #5
This was a quick sketch using only an HB pencil. I used the side of the lead, not the tip. I don't care for the look of this one any better than the one done in mechanical .7 pencil.
Number 4...chain, chain, chain
This is labeled and tells about all there is about it. Pencil is hard to get right on posts. Maybe a different pencil will help.
I like the Commitments' version of Chain, chain, chain.

This is my 3rd sketch
These are sketches of two unknown bugs I found in my garden. The one on the left is life sized, but the other is very small.
Oops I missed...
I forgot :-( to post here, so I will play catchup today! This is another from the Sketch Series #2 I picked up these seeds in our yard, while out with the dog. The labels are for another site, but they tell what and why I sketched this one. If a post has labels, like these..it is for another site.

Sketches...new series
Ladybug in Blue
This is a new series of sketches for me. I am still working on my flowers and will post them as I finish each one. I am goingto try for a new record number of posts in a row. I want to do one a day and see if I can do a year. These sketches will be of many subjects and done in lots of media. Hope this works out and I can be more productive.

Spring Flower Series #7
HERE IS NUMBER SEVEN..in my Spring Flower Series. It is not a single plant from my garden, like the other six. It is a practice piece using different ways of painting in watercolor, than I usually use. Not sure if I like the results. The purple iris is the closest to the one that blooms in my garden and has since 1990.
